This week fits perfectly into our monthly theme of Citizenship. Our awesome librarian has been teaching our students about Random Acts of Kindness. They have been posting their RAKs on our school's Wallwisher. We are over 100 RAKs and counting! Our students are so proud and we are so proud of them!
Each day this week, our principal is going to announce a new RAK to focus on for that day. Here is a rough draft of our schedule:
Monday: Smile and introduce yourself to 5 unfamiliar students or staff today!
Tuesday: Invite someone you don't usually play with to play with you at recess!
Wednesday: Pick up a piece of trash that may not be yours!
Thursday: Be Thankful! Thank a teacher, classmate, aide, or anyone else who helps you.
Friday: Practice Random Acts of Kindness over the weekend at home! Help with washing dishes, cleaning your room, or helping with another job around the house.
What are you doing to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week??
