Welcome to my blog!
My name is Carli Segal and I am a K-6 Certified Elementary School Counselor. I currently serve a K-4 public school just outside of Philadelphia. Previously, I served as a school counselor for an Approved Private School and a Student Planning Counselor at a local college. I had an incredible undergraduate school experience at Muhlenberg College (Allentown, PA) where I was heavily involved in psychological research, followed by a rigorous full-time double master's degree program at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA).
I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be an elementary school counselor. I love having such a versatile role in a school setting and being able to help students in different capacities. I am convinced that I have the best job in the world! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, painting, and watching baseball (Go Phillies!). I also enjoy playing my acoustic guitar and spending time with my friends and family.
As you can probably guess, my newest passion is connecting with other educators online internationally. Though this is my first time as a blogger, I have been a consumer of information and ideas blogged by other school counselors. You can find these invaluable blogs linked through my resource page.
